Stunned fans can’t believe Ashley Roberts’ ‘real age’ as she celebrates her birthday with huge cake

ASHLEY Roberts left fans gobsmacked today as she revealed she is 42.

The Pussycat Dolls singer celebrated her birthday at work – and her followers couldn’t get over her real age.

Sharing a series of pictures as she enjoyed a cake at Heart Radio, Ashley wrote: “42 tastes goooood. Thank you for all the bday wishes. Have so much to be grateful for.

"Sending out all my love hunni’s. thx to my @thisisheart fam for making me feel special. Love u.”

Rushing to comment on the images, one person wrote:  “How are you 42? You look 22 if you was a day. Happy Birthday xx.”

A second said:  “Flip those digits! Not looking a day over 24 sis - happy birthday, big love as always!”

While a third added: “I think you’ve got them numbers the wrong way round…happy birthday trouble! Hope it’s a goodun.”

And another person commented: “Happy Birthday Superstar. You look 25 x.”

The star previously exclusively told The Sun she felt "more connected" to her body when she entered her forties.

Ashley said: “As you get older you start giving less f***s. You are more connected to yourself and wiser.

“I feel excited about the years to come because I feel better than how I felt in my twenties. Part of how I express my femininity is feeling sexy.

“It makes me sad to think about women not allowing themselves to feel that as we continue on.

“I’m like, ‘Let’s get our sassy, fierce, feminine sides out there’. Let’s embrace that part of ourselves. It doesn’t stop with age, right? I mean, we’ve all seen Jennifer Lopez at 52 . . . ”
