Coach Trip returns for another journey of bickering, culture and tour guide Brendan Sheerin – and this time they’re off to Marbella
E4 has commissioned two more series of the raucous travel show
COACH Trip is back in the New Year - and this time the paired-up holiday makers are off to Marbs.
Everyone's favourite tour guide Brendan Sheerin will be taking a coach load of 'holiday makers' to the Towie lot's favourite summer stomping ground.
Once there, it's safe to assume there will be plenty of arguments, late nights, boozing... and one-liners from Brendan.
Die-hard Coach Trip fans were in two minds when the show moved from it's afternoon slot on Channel 4 to prime time on E4.
And that wasn't the only change, with the normally genteel contestants replaced with hard partying reality star wannabe types.
But, the move was a success and has guaranteed the future of the show.
Executive producer Matt Walton said explained: "Coach Trip's successful transfer to peak after a decade in daytime has seen it find a brand new audience.
"With the show due to break the 500 episode mark next summer, it proves that a good, solid format can have enduring popularity."
Dom Bird, who was part of the team who brought the show to its new home explained that the change of pace really invigorated the show.
He said: "Seeing the show refreshed for the E4 audience has been a joy to watch.
"Brendan's revamped coach won a legion of new fans in its new peak time slot and we'll be keeping the show on the road with two new series in 2017."
The series this year was a breeding ground for drama as the young travellers headed off for a jolly around Ibiza, with claims of bullying and accusations of INCEST rocking the show.
