Ricky Wilson, KT Tunstall and David Gray sing their hearts out in first look at video for Jo Cox charity single
The stars are doing their bit to create a fitting tribute
RICKY Wilson, KT Tunstall and David Gray can all be seen singing with passion in the first look at the music video for the charity single which is set to be released in memory of murdered MP Jo Cox.
The pop stars have teamed up with a series of MPs to record a moving version of the Rolling Stones track, You Can't Always Get What You Want.
It also features the Parliament Choir and the Royal Opera House Thurrock Community Chorus and MP4 – a cross party rock band made up for four British MPs.
Images from the video show the stars belting out the track with passion alongside the choirs – making sure it’s a fitting tribute.
Proceeds from the track will go towards starting The Jo Cox Foundation, which supports a range of charities including the Royal Voluntary Service and White Helmets.
Explaining his decision to be involved David Gray said: "In an era of public disenchantment that has seen politics discredited by corruption scandals and characterised by political campaigns driven by hateful and divisive language, Jo Cox was that rare thing - someone you could believe in.
"A dedicated politician working at the heart of her community who believed in a politics of compassion and in building a fairer world.
