Eighties pop icon looks unrecognisable as she goes makeup-free 34 years after number one hit and four-month marriage
SHE shot to fame in the 80s after winning a TV talent show and went on to have a huge number one single and two Grammy nominations.
And 34 years on from her career high point, British pop icon Lisa Stansfield is looking very different.
In her pop pomp Lisa wore heavy makeup - often favouring red lipstick, lilac eye-shadow and a beauty spot on her cheek - and her hair was short and slick with single curl at the front.
Fast forward three decades and Lisa has eased up on the warpaint and favours a more natural look.
She was pictured enjoying an al fresco lunch in North London with husband Ian Devaney this week and embraced her light brown hair that, while still short, was slightly longer than her 80s style.
Wearing a black cardigan over a striped top and a pair of blue jeans, Lisa sipped a glass of water while chatting with her other half.

Lisa has made no secret about her uncomfortable relationship with fame following her 1989 smash hit All Around The World, so to see her on a low-key outing isn't at all surprising.
She previously said on Lorraine: "It got to the point where I just couldn’t go out of the house or to the shops, it made me twitchy. We [Lisa and Ian] ended up living in Ireland for 14 years to get away from it."
Lisa's music career began in 1980 when she won the singing competition Search for a Star.
After appearances in various television shows and releasing her first songs, she joined Ian and Andy Morris to form Blue Zone in 1984.
The band released several singles and one album, but after the success of People Hold On in 1989, Lisa decided to focus on her solo career.
Her first album, Affection (1989), and its worldwide chart-topping lead single, All Around the World, were major commercial breakthroughs.
She was nominated for two Grammy Awards and Affection is remains her best-selling album.
In 1987, Lisa married the Italian designer Augusto Grassi, who she met during a holiday in Tunisia.
The couple then moved to Zagarolo in Italy but their marriage only lasted four months.
After the marriage ended, Lisa came back to Britain.
She then married her former bandmate Ian on July 25, 1998.
