Strictly Come Dancing’s Louise Redknapp’s mother-in-law appears at finale two months after being run over by her own husband
LOUISE Redknapps mother-in-law has made her first public appearance since being run over at the Strictly Come Dancing finale.
Sanda Redknapp was accidentally run over by football boss husband Harry in October and was left hobbling around on crutches but the brave 69-year-old appeared recuperated as she supported her daughter in law from the audience of the finale of the BBC One show.
Sandra was spotted standing up and applauding Louise's performance of the Cha Cha to Flashdance.
There had been fears Sandra wouldn't be able to see her daughter in law compete in the finale.
Sandra Redknapp, 69, is still on crutches two months after footie boss hubby Harry accidentally ran over her leg in a Range Rover.
She had been a regular in the audience to watch Louise.
Harry said of Sandra last week: “She’s doing okay but we’re not sure yet. I’m waiting to see whether she feels well enough to go.”
Louise and pro dancer partner Kevin Clifton will compete in Saturday's Strictly Come Dancing final against Hollyoaks star Danny Mac and sports presenter Ore Oduba.
Louise has proved a consistent and talented performer in this year’s show, topping the leaderboard on three separate weeks.
Louise and Kevin came first in the Cha Cha Challenge and are in the running for the final.
She also revealed that she hopes her ‘fertility king’ dance partner can be the lucky charm that brings her and husband Jamie a daughter to join their two sons.
