Zach Braff teases fans about making new episodes of Scrubs during live Twitter Q&A

The actor starred as Doctor John ‘J.D. Dorian’ for nine seasons of the medical comedy

ZACH Braff has teased fans about making new episode of Scrubs six years after the comedy drama ended.

The 41-year-old actor was taking part in a live video feed Q&A on Twitter when he was asked if he would ever consider making any more episodes of Scrubs.

And Zach replied: “You never know, it's something we all talk about.

“Especially now that all these people are going back and doing Netflix versions of their shows.
"I'm very jealous of all this Gilmore Girls attention, and Full House, so we talk about it every now and then.

 

"So you never know. It could happen. I'd do it."

Scrubs was a comedy series that was set in the fictional Sacred Heart teaching hospital and ran from 2001 to 2010.

As well as Braff, it also starred Clueless’s Donald Faison as J.D.’s best friend and surgeon Christopher Turk and Platoon’s John C. McGinley as Perry Cox.

The award-winning show also featured guest appearances from Colin Farrell and Heather Graham.

Fans of the show would be delighted to see it return especially as this year has seen two popular TV series make a comeback after several years off air.

Full House, which ran from 1987 to 1995, and starred John Stamos and the Olsen twins, made a return after a 21-year break.

Snapped up by Netflix, Fuller House centres around Donna Jo “D.J.” Tanner-Fuller, who was the eldest child in Full House, now a veterinarian and a widowed mother.

Also making a return this year was the beloved Gilmore Girls, which ran from 2000 to 2007, and was also brought back by Netflix for a four-part miniseries called Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life.
