Nicole Kidman and husband Keith Urban ‘to adopt a little boy from India’ to add to their brood
The actress is currently starring in a film about an Australian woman who adopts a child from India
NICOLE Kidman and her husband Keith Urban have reportedly started the adoption process of a little boy from India.
The actress and her rocker husband are believed to be putting the wheels in motion to adopt the little boy into their family.
According to Women’s Day magazine, Nicole and Keith, both 49, has kept their news very private but have told a few close friends.
A source told the publication: “Nicole has been dancing around the topic in public.
“But privately she's told friends she and Keith have already begun the process.”
The Sun Online has contacted Nicole's publicists for comment.
The news comes just as Nicole finished promoting her new movie Lion in which she stars as Australian woman Sue Brierley who adopts a little Indian boy.
The movie focuses on Saroo Brierley, played by Slumdog Millionaire star Dev Patel, a man on the hunt for his long-lost biological family after he was separated from them at the age of five.
Nicole and Keith already have two daughters – Sunday Rose, eight, and six-year-old Faith Margaret, born via surrogate.
She also has two adopted children, 24-year-old daughter Isabella and 21-year-old son Connor, from her marriage to Tom Cruise.
And speaking to the Mail Online earlier this month, the actress said neither she nor Keith had ruled out adoption.
She said: “It's something I have thought about. But you never say 'never' about children, do you?”
