'SACK THE STYLIST'

Gabby Logan suffers wardrobe disaster in see-through dress as fans reckon she flashed too much flesh as host of Sports Personality Of The Year

Viewers compared her dress to a 'doily' and a 'lampshade' and said she should 'sack her stylist'

GABBY Logan divided fans with her see-through dress as she hosted the Sports Personality of the Year 2016 on Sunday night.

Viewers at home were not impressed with her £400 Mr Self Portrait dress with many calling on the 43-year-old to "sack the stylist" and compared the lace ensemble to a "doily".

While many praised her hosting duties, others just couldn't help being distracted by her wardrobe disaster.

Her designer dress featured a nude lining with a navy lace overlay on top before breaking into a black floral pattern and finally a bright turquoise see-through bottom.

Gabby paired the dress with some open-toed black stiletto ankle boots.

The debate over her see-through dress exploded on Twitter with many comparing it to a lampshade.

One wrote: "Gabby Logan is a good presenter but what the hell is she wearing? Come on wardrobe people u could have given her a better dress #SPOTY."

Another said: "Gabby Logan's dress is a bit naughty, isn't it? #SPOTY."

A third added: "#SPOTY what is gaby Logan wearing? Grandmas doily?"

However, others loved it with many telling her she looked "amazing" and asking where they could buy it themselves.

One wrote: "@GabbyLogan lovely dress tonight at SPOTY where is it from?"

Another added: "Wow you look amazing @GabbyLogan!"

It was an exciting night as Andy Murray became the first person to win the BBC’s Sports Personality of the Year award three times.

However, Lord Sugar took to Twitter to vent his fury over The Apprentice final being delayed by the annual awards ceremony.
