Coleen Nolan reveals daughter Ciara, 15, has given seal of approval to marriage split after accusing husband Ray of ‘not fancying her’
However, Coleen insists she's doing everything to save her marriage of 17-years and is looking forward to a family Christmas
COLEEN Nolan has revealed her 15-year-old daughter Ciara has told her she'd 'be OK' if she split from husband Ray Fensome.
The news comes after the Loose Women panellist sensationally revealed she's fighting for her marriage of 17 years after hubby Ray admitted he didn't fancy her anymore.
Speaking on today's show, Coleen opened up about why she went public with her relationship woes and the shocking revelation from her youngest daughter.
She told co-panellists Stacey Solomon, Christine Bleakley and Jane Moore: "I'm an agony aunt and I get lots of letters about the same thing I'm going through and so I had to speak out.
"And we've done topics over the past few weeks that have been relationship based and it was killing me sitting here and thinking I don't know how to join in as if everything is fine.
She added: "I think it's worth fighting for, before I give up I'll do everything I can."
However, she admitted it was a bit of a relief when her daughter Ciara said she just wants her parents to be happy.
"She's not an idiot, she notices things and she has said to me: 'Listen mum, I love you and dad and I want you both to be happy. If you're going to be happier apart then that's OK. Please don't stay because of me.'
"You worry about how it's going to affect your kids, the boys said to me it didn't affect them when I split from their dad."

The 51-year-old then said every relationship needs work and she's determined to fight for her marriage, even after Ray admitted he didn't fancy her any more.
She said: "I always say, people give up too easy, we go to a doctor [if we're sick] and I don't think a relationship is any different.
"The easiest thing to do is go our separate ways but we want to really, really work at it and god forbid if it's comes to a natural end, at least we can say we really tried and it's doesn't have to be horrible.
"I said to Ray recently, I don't think you fancy me anymore and he said, 'Well I think men are very visual'.
"I think he was saying probably to look at 'no, I don't' but before you all jump on him for that, we were having a very honest discussion and I told him things he didn't like.
"Did I run to the chemist and get slimming pills no? As I said to him I want you to look like George Clooney but that ain't gonna happen.
"It's not just about fancying, it's about the whole picture.
"I know he prefers me slimmer but , the best question I asked him was do you still love me and he said instantly 'yes' and I asked if he wanted to split up and he said 'no'.
"I know he loves me for who I am."
Coleen - of The Nolan Sisters fame - warned that the couple could face a trial separation if counselling doesn't work.
Guitarist Ray, 58, has been touring with Rick Astley taking him away from the family home, while Coleen's Loose Women commitments mean the couple barely see each other.
The former popstar also revealed that they would spend nights together, often on the same sofa, just not talking to each other - sometimes for days at a time.
The I'm in the Mood for Dancing singer described the moment Ray told her he no longer found her attractive saying she was 'totally devastated'.
She told The Mirror: "It was tough to hear, but I'd asked him for the truth and sometimes the truth bloody hurts!" she added.
Coleen, 51, insisted she wouldn't be dieting to make Ray happy and said she found him the 'least fanciable man on the planet' when he had been drinking.
"He said he couldn't think of anything worse than ending it - it was a huge relief. Up until that point I wasn't sure Ray still loved me - he's not the kind of man that says it - so it was a massive breakthrough."
