Major update in Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas divorce battle as couple step back from war of words
SOPHIE Turner and Joe Jonas have stepped back from a war of words and now expect their divorce to be resolved “amicably”.
They agreed a custody sharing deal and said in court documents that a “resolution on all issues is forthcoming”.
Game of Thrones star Sophie, 27, and singer Joe, 34, will take turns to have kids Willa, three, and Delphine, one, for two week spells until at least January.
The girls will also be allowed to travel, spending Christmas with Sophie in the UK while Joe can take them on The Jonas Brothers’ US tour.
The agreement follows four days of intense mediation in New York.
Joe filed for divorce on September 1 in Miami.

During those dates the group is scheduled to play in Austin, Texas; San Diego, California, and Anaheim, California.
On November 2nd they are set to play in Fresno, California, which may explain why their nanny could bring them back to New York for the handover.
The document states that Turner will have the children for the following two weeks until November 22nd and Jonas will have them for the next two weeks until December 16th under the same conditions.
Turner will get to spend Christmas with her daughters as she will be with them from the 16th of December until January 7th, at which point she will have to return them to New York.

A trial to resolve the custody matters is scheduled for January 2nd.
Previous legal filings have detailed how the couple’s three year marriage rapidly broke up in August.
Joe filed for divorce two weeks later claiming their relationship was ‘irretrievably broken’.
But Turner responded with the lawsuit in New York.
Hearings had been due there and in the UK too.
