GEORDIE Shore fans were left devastated on Tuesday night when Holly Hagan quit the show.
The 24-year-old reality star confirmed she was departing the MTV show for good in an Instagram post ahead of the two-hour series finale.
And as her fans watched her final scenes, which saw her decide to leave her friends to be with on-off boyfriend Kyle Christie, they couldn't hide their upset at one of the few remaining original cast members quitting.
Taking to Twitter, one wrote: "Holly.... No [lots of crying emojis] one the originals is actually leaving. I'm absolutely gutted. #geordieshore", while another added: "Another original member leaving, won't be the same".
A fellow viewer agreed, writing: "Gutted Holly has left.. my favourite off the show, sure she'll smash whatevers next!"
Holly has been on Geordie Shore since it began six years ago, and in a lengthy Instagram post, she thanked everyone involved in the show for making her dreams come true.
She wrote: "Just want to say a huge thank you to everyone who's been involved in my Geordie Shore journey for the past 6 years!
"Considering I thought I was going to get p***ed for 6 weeks and thought I'd be going back to the call centre this has changed my life and I'll forever be grateful."

But in her Instagram post, she insisted she had thought long and hard about it before finalising her plans.
She continued: "I'd been considering leaving for a very long time and it wasn't a split second decision as it may look on tv.
"I've not had one single regret since leaving but that's not to say I won't miss every single one of that f***ed up family.
"My brothers and sisters forever, I'm so proud and honoured to have been a part of MTV's highest rating show and I have memories that no1 can replace.
"I hope everyone continues to support Geordie Shore. Thank you for being a part of this incredible journey."
A few minutes later, Holly added a picture of the cast alongside the caption: "My family old and new we've been on a journey that only us will ever understand. Love yas all forever [sic]".
Holly had many ups and downs over the show's run, as well as a variety of wild hair colours.
She went on to transform her figure, losing a significant amount of weight and ditching the fake tan and seven sets of eyelashes, which her co-star Gaz Beadle joked about in his Instagram tribute to her.
Viewers also commented on how far Holly had come during the series, with one writing: "Wow - Bye Holly... I remember you dissing yr loser boyfriend in the first series, then yr crush on James.
"You've grown so much [sic]".
