James Haskell complained that Chloe Madeley didn’t dress ‘sexily enough’ for him before they split, TV show reveals
CHLOE Madeley was brutally told by her husband James Haskell that she didn't dress "sexily" enough for him months before they split.
It comes after fitness enthusiast Chloe, 36 and the ex-rugby ace, 38, announced that their five year marriage had come to an end.
On their ITVBe show Family Affair, viewers spotted early signs that trouble was in paradise after James commented on the way Chloe dressed.
After a disagreement, the pair decided to put their differences aside and headed for a crazy golf date night.
While getting ready, Chloe said: "I know it's a date but also it's an active, competitive date so I'm not going to be dressing - like I ever do - like a girly girl."
This prompted James to reply: "Why are you pretending that you ever get really dressed up? You're lying!

"You always sit on a date and go 'does it upset you that I don't wear any makeup and never dress up?' It's more the fact you do something and you worry about it."
Chloe explained: "I feel bad because...' but James jumped in and said: "Not bad enough to ever change it though."
The daughter of TV presenters Richard Madeley and Judy Finnigan continued: "In my head we're leaving the house and I'm comfortable and I'm warm and that's all I care about.
"Then we get there and other girls, like Love Island-style girls walk in and I'm like oh s**t, poor James."

The former England rugby star said: "I never complain', which prompted Chloe to say: "I dress a bit s***ty, just not girly."
James then quipped: "You always dress s***ty when I'm not there which is even worse."
Last night Chloe looked red hot on a wild girls' night out.
Showing off her gym-honed figure, Chloe wore a thigh-skimming black dress and cowgirl boots.
The outing came after James was pictured looking cosy with a PR expert pal Martine Bridge on a night out at London celeb hotspot the Chiltern Firehouse.
A source said: “She [Chloe] was slightly annoyed and upset over the pictures of James and the other woman.”
Shortly after the pic came to light, Chloe filled her social media with a slew of cryptic comments - including stating how she feels "lucky" in her current state.
It came at the same time as scenes showed Chloe branding her spouse a k***head after he shared clips of women in bikinis to Instagram.
After viewing her husband's social media clips, Chloe raged: "He's on Instagram uploading videos and photos of all these girls and I was like I will kill you. I will fly to Ibiza and kill you."
Shortly afterwards, the pair released their identical Instagram statements addressing their split.
It said: “James and I mutually decided separate at the end of September, 2023.
“We had not planned on releasing a statement at this time - certainly not while the television show was airing - but constant speculation about our marriage has, unfortunately, forced our hand.

“Beyond this statement, we will not be speaking about this matter publicly, and we would request privacy at this time.
“Our sole focus now is our beautiful daughter. We shall continue to co-parent with nothing but love.”
