Aston Merrygold refuses to help out on JLS bandmate JB Gill’s turkey farm, as he’s ‘not that kind of person’

IT may be Christmas, but Aston Merrygold doesn’t care for teamwork and has REFUSED to help his JLS bandmate JB Gill on his turkey farm.

According to Aston, 28, he won’t be getting his hands dirty and mucking in on 30-year-old JB’s farm as it’s just not what he’s about.

“I’d never help out on the farm, I’m not that kind of person,” the Scroogey singer told the Daily Star.

He also moaned that the dancer-turned-farmer hasn’t given him any free dinners either.

“He would never give me a freebie either. As we are practically family, he’s never given me a free meal!”

JLS shot to fame after coming second in The X Factor in 2008. After calling it quits in 2013 JB poured his skills into his 10-acre farm in Westerham, Kent, which (until the festive period) comprised of a 170-strong Kelly Bronze Turkey flock and a herd of Tamworth pigs.

And none of which will be finding a place on Aston’s plate.
