Classic comedy game show Blankety Blank is returning to TV screens for a Christmas Special.
The long-running show – which first aired on the BBC between 1979 and 1990 – sees a panel of celebrities and competing contestants filling in blank words in sentences.
With the blank word traditionally appearing at the point in a sentence to lead to a saucy answer, it will no doubt be a side-splitting return to a golden TV age when the show airs.

The show originally aired on the BBC during its original run between the ‘70s and 1999 but transferred to ITV in 2001 where each subsequent original airing has played.
Who is hosting the Blankety Blank Christmas special?
Comedian and actor David Walliams is stepping into the hosting shoes for the 2016 festive special.
The 45-year-old funnyman follows in the footsteps of Terry Wogan, Les Dawson and Lily Savage who have each hosted the show in the past.

While Queen of Mean Ann Robinson proves she’s still got it when David asked her for one of her notorious put downs.
“Do you know how proud everybody was when you swam across The Channel? And then we were very disappointed when you came back,” she gamefully crowed.
Will there be more Blankety Blank?
ITV is hoping that the Christmas special could prove popular enough to be more than just a one-off.
