PETE Doherty has broken down while reliving the heartbreaking moment he was "kicked out" of The Libertines.
The 44-year-old rocker sat down with Louis Theroux last night in a raw interview on BBC Two.
The singer recalled his "honeymoon period with crack and heroin" which led to him being "kicked out" of the band.
Pete explained how he broke into bandmate Carl Barât's flat in a desperate bid to stay in The Libertines, but he wasn't at home.
In the latest documentary, Pete told Louis: "They were doing these gigs without me, they did Glastonbury without me and I went round [to his home] to beg him to say 'I know you are worried about the drugs but please don't carry on without me'."
He added: "I acted really stupidly and took some videos and stuff."

Carl described how Pete's spiralling addiction meant he couldn't keep up with the band's schedule and commitments.
His pal said: "People kept saying to me, your friend is going off the rails, he needs help, 'You can't let him do this' 'You can't let him do that' but you've seen the man, he's a law unto himself.
"But I knew I had to keep the band together and I knew we had these commitments, and Pete was running round with this new crew and I felt like he was getting away from me.
"I felt like I was breaking our bond, our pack, everything we had sworn in blood together and although Pete says he got kicked out the band that was never the case, but of course he didn't see it that way.

"It was quite heartbreaking really both romantics and there's just f*** you can do about it really."
The pair, who have since mended their relationship, embraced each other during the episode when Pete became emotional.
Through successive stints in rehab, Pete was able to conquer his £200-a-day addiction to heroin and crack and has reportedly been clean for three years.
In September, he was pictured on an outing with his baby daughter Billie-May, who he shares with his wife Katia de Vidas.
He has an older son and daughter from two other women.
The setting for the interview with Theroux was at the musician's home in France, where he has settled down with his family.
Doherty moved there around 2020 to escape the vices of his former days, swapping it with the peaceful bucolic lifestyle of Normandy.
However, the quintessential French region is littered with irresistible fromargeries and is where the rockstar famously "swapped crack for Camembert".
Explaining he woke most mornings to "Comté on toast", Doherty told the Guardian it was a shameful new "addiction".
