Who is Alicia Douvall? Former glamour model and plastic surgery addict – here’s what we know
The star is said to have undergone 350 cosmetic surgeries in her lifetime
ALICIA Douvall made a name for herself for her work as a glamour model - but her love for plastic surgery and the series of botched jobs she's had undergoing the treatments has overshadowed her original claim to fame.
So who is Alicia? And how many surgeries has she actually had?
Here's all you need to know about the star....
Who is Alicia Douvall?
Alicia Douvall, born Sarah Howe, first made headlines as a glamour model, but quickly became known for her liaisons with celebrities including Simon Cowell, John Terry, Dean Gaffney and Mickey Rourke.
She has never publicly confirmed her real age, with most sites claiming she is between 36-38 years old - having had her eldest daughter in her teens.
The star, by her own admission is not highly educated, and has struggled on occasion to remember the alphabet because 'she's never needed it'.
However, when she made the revelation, she said: "I sense that [with] me not knowing my alphabet and geography sometimes I come across as brain dead, but I don't mind that. I have a different intelligence and I'm street wise."
Since 2006, Alicia has made several appearances on reality TV shows, including Celebrity Love Island in 2006, which she quickly left after facing eviction after declaring she 'couldn't have the humiliation'.
She later attempted Celebrity Big Brother in January 2015 but only lasted until the second eviction show, when she was given the boot.
How many surgeries has Alicia Douvall had so far and how much did they cost?
By the age of 24, Alicia had undergone two nose jobs and three boob jobs in a bid to appear more perfect.
In 2013, she revealed to the Daily Mail that she has had 16 boob jobs, six nose jobs and 308 other cosmetic treatments.
Her quest for the perfect figure has now reached more than 350 surgeries, and she has spent approximately £1million in the process.
After calming her plastic surgery visits, she said: "I was unwell - addicted to surgery. But none of those doctors tried to stop me. I think they just wanted my money."
In a bid to curb her addiction, she is also believed to have entered rehab no less than three times - including during a reality show in 2009.
She addressed her personal issues with how she looks in her autobiography, titled Don't Call Me Ugly in 2016.
The star has now overhauled her looked for a complete make-under - and revealed her transformation on This Morning.
She told Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford: “I have turned my back on surgery completely.
“I had implants in my face, breasts… everything, you name it! I had it in places you couldn’t even dream of having implants."
In December, she revealed to Loose Women that she didn't want any more surgery - but a leak in her bum implant means she might have to.
She said: “I don’t want surgery ever again – there are so many complications.”
She has also told Closer magazine: "“I haven't had fillers or Botox for years. I looked fake and all that 'Barbie' image doesn't appeal to me any more; I want to look natural and go back to how I looked when I was Sarah.”
How many children does Alicia have and what do they think of her surgeries?
Alicia has two daughters - Georgia Douvall, 20, and five-year-old Papaya.
On several occasions, bookworm Georgia has publicly denounced the surgeries her mother has put her through.
A full dermabrasion procedure a few years ago removed the top layer of skin from model Alicia’s face, terrified Georgia, who was then just a little girl.
The youngster was staying with family while her mum visited the clinic and after seeing her emerge with a red raw face, said: “I didn’t recognise her.
“I didn’t even known it was a person, never mind my mum.
“I remember saying to my gran ‘It’s a monster’.”
Alicia spouted more controversy by appearing alongside her daughters in BBC Three documentary - and was filmed pulling her daughter out of a mock A-Level exam and throwing her a 'pimps and hos' themed party.
She defended her actions as a mother by later telling : "At the end of the day, the proof is in the pudding. Georgia is a result of my parenting. That's why she is what she is today.
"She's not drinking and she's probably one of the best teenagers you could get. Most teenagers are out drinking going wild. She's a great kid."
