BILLIE Lourd has been spotted leaving her Santa Monica home alongside Taylor Lautner a day after the death of her mother Carrie Fisher.
The Twilight star helped Billie, 24, carry some bags as they left her house this afternoon at around 12.45pm - just minutes before ambulances were called to take her grandmother Debbie Reynolds to a nearby emergency room.
In an Instagram photo of himself with Billie, the 24-year-old said: "This girl is one of the strongest, most fearless individuals I've ever met."
He described her as "absolutely beautiful inside and out", adding: "I'm lucky to know you."
EMTs drove to her uncle Todd's place in Beverly Hills, around half an hour's drive from Billie's home, after the 84-year-old Singin' in the Rain actress reportedly suffered from a stroke.
Her condition when she was taken to hospital was listed "fair to serious", according to .
Someone from the house is believed to have called 911 just after 1pm.

The Singin' in the Rain actress was said to be distraught after her daughter Carrie Fisher died yesterday, aged 60, following a heart attack on a flight from London to LAX on 23 December.
Sources told TMZ that 911 was called to report a possible stroke.
Debbie had reportedly been at her son's house to discuss funeral plans for her Star Wars legend daughter.
She took to Facebook to pay tribute to her "amazing daughter" and thanked fans for their prayers that are “guiding her to her next stop.”
The post said: “Thank you to everyone who has embraced the gifts and talents of my beloved and amazing daughter.
“I am grateful for your thoughts and prayers that are now guiding her to her next stop. Love Carries Mother [sic]”.
The post gathered more than 70,000 likes and 10,000 comments from fans sending their love within just an hour.
A statement from the family spokesman Simon Halls, on behalf of Carrie's daughter Billie Lourd, confirmed the tragic news about the Star Wars legend.
He said: "It is with a very deep sadness that Billie Lourd confirms that her beloved mother Carrie Fisher passed away at 8:55 this morning.
"She was loved by the world and she will be missed profoundly. Our entire family thanks you for your thoughts and prayers."
Debbie began her film career at MGM after she won a beauty contest at the age of just 16.
Before she was 20 she had already landed arguably her most famous role – that of Gene Kelly’s partner in 1952 movie Singin’ in the Rain.
She got the part despite not actually being a dancer but proved herself to be a fast learner.
The musical was a huge success and catapulted Debbie to fame.
