Celebrity Big Brother reveals sneak peek inside the colourful new house ahead of All Stars and New Stars series launch
THE Celebrity Big Brother house has had a colourful makeover ahead of the new All Stars and New Stars series.
Over 150 tins of paint have been used to transform the famous Channel 5 compound before the next bunch of housemates move in on January 3.
The bold interior design has been heavily inspired by pop art - a trend championed by Andy Warhol.
The art movement first emerged in the mid-1950’s in Britain and the 1960’s in America and presented a challenge to the traditions of fine art.
Comic book prints, cartoon figures and clashing colours make the house the most vibrant it has ever been.
Revealing the images online, presenter Rylan wrote: "Here's your FIRST LOOK at the brand new #CBB house! Find out which All Stars + New Stars will be moving in Tues 3rd Jan 9pm."
The official Big Brother Twitter account added: "Over 150 tins of paint were used to makeover the #CBB House. What do you think of its new look?"
Kim Kardashian's ex-boyfriend Ray J is the latest name linked to the upcoming new series.
And bosses are hoping that Snoop Dogg's cousin will tell all about Kim, including the full story of their infamous sex tape.
A CBB source told The Sun: “Bosses are over the moon with how the negotiations are going.
“Kim is one of the biggest celebrities in the world and they were never going to get her but booking Ray J means they’ll get someone with proper insight into what goes on behind closed doors.
“He was right by her side as she shot to fame because of their sex tape so they are hoping he will talk openly about their relationship and reveal lots of new things about her while in the house.”
Celebrity Big Brother fans are convinced The Chase’s Mark Labbett has also signed up for the show.
When bosses teased the next housemate during a video posted on Twitter, some claimed they knew it was Mark because of his size and shape.
The 19-second long clip shows the outline of a man walking into shot.
He’s accompanied by the words “cutting and callous” then, somewhat bizarrely, “Eminem”.
Fans were quick to assume it was Mark however, with one tweeting: “Marc from the Chase! I'd know that silhouette anywhere He'll eat them alive…”
Another added: “IF THAT IS MARK LABBETT THEN I AM BUZZING OMG.”
If Mark is entering the house – for the special All Stars And New Stars edition of the show – he’ll be joining a star studded cast.
Earlier this week The Sun revealed footballer and Danielle Lloyd’s ex-husband Jamie O’Hara had signed up to the show.
Other contestants likely to be shacking up with Jamie when the show begins on January 3 are Shameless actor Jody Latham, Nicola McLean and Bianca Gascoigne.
