Gogglebox’s Daniel Lustig Webb gives health update on husband Stephen after nasty Dancing On Ice injury & quitting show
GOGGLEBOX favourite Daniel Lustig Webb has given fans a health update on husband Stephen after his nasty Dancing On Ice injury - and revealed a surprising confession.
Stephen, 52, was forced to pull out of the competition after breaking his ankle.
Hairdresser Daniel, 43, said Stephen will need "a year" to recover from his injury but teased that the Brighton-based reality star to make a comeback to the ITV skating competition in 2025.
Speaking exclusively to The Sun, Daniel said: "Stephen's doing good, he's got his cast off now and he's actually got a boot on for the next six weeks and then he'll get back to it, he's really excited.
"I've had to be his nurse maid, he loves it.
"I've got to do dog walking, looking after him and then work in the salons.
"He broke his ankle in two places, he's gutted about Dancing on Ice, he was so excited.
"He's got some other stuff happening next year that he's really excited about and hopefully we've got some stuff together and stuff separately - could possibly be more reality work."
Despite Stephen's painful injury, the star has not ruled out a return to Dancing on Ice, with his partner saying it has not "scared" him off.
He told us at The Beauty Awards 2023: "I think he'd like to do Dancing on Ice in the future, never say never. Neither one of us would really.

"It think it's going to take a good year to get back to normal, with all the physio and stuff.
"I went to see him rehearse and he was doing really well, so I'm sure he'd do it."
"When asked if he thinks the injury had knocked his confidence, Daniel categorically said: "No! He loves stuff like that. He's a bit of a daredevil.
"He definitely would give it a go [if ITV were to approach him again].
"We need to see him do those pirouettes.
"I would love to do it - I actually went ice skating in Brighton the other day and he was like 'please be careful'."
The reality star and hairdresser is said to have suffered a "freak accident" during rehearsals which landed him with the injury which means he'll be on crutches for "three months".
A source told the : "Stephen is devastated… he is absolutely gutted.
"He was loving training but while turning on his skates he snapped his ankle and was rushed to hospital.

"After two days and an operation to put metal plates into his left ankle, medics informed him that there wasn't a chance he could return to training, so he had no other option but to pull out of the competition."
The Sun revealed in October that Eddie the Eagle, real name Michael Edwards, had signed up to replace Stephen on the ice.
