Former Towie star Maria Fowler forced to deny shocking ‘prostitute’ claims from ‘fake’ account retweeted by Danielle Lloyd which sparked furious Twitter feud
Maria has furiously denied the claims and accused Danielle of retweeting from a 'fake account'
EX-Towie star Maria Fowler has been forced to deny shocking allegations made by a "fake account" retweeted by Danielle Lloyd claiming that she was a "prostitute" which sparked a Twitter war.
Maria addressed the spat via a Snapchat video and told viewers that Danielle didn't like her because her ex-husband Jamie O'Hara was pictured going into a Manchester hotel with her "a couple of years back".
She said that Jamie had tried it on with her but that she had told him no and went to her room with a pal.
Maria said that she had told Danielle her side of the story and that "she believed [her] but she tried to play the victim publicly".
On Friday a source told The Sun Online that Danielle is worried about her former close friend Nicola McLean and Jamie going into the Celebrity Big Brother house together, fearing they may dish the dirt on her turbulent past.
Danielle's brother Matty hit out at Nicola earlier in the week on Twitter by randomly branding her "a fat c***".
Mum-of-one Maria went on in the Snapchat to speak about mum-of-three Danielle's retweets: "So yeah, she's [Danielle] now going on Twitter retweeting things from some fake account she's blatantly made, or her f***ing brother have made, retweeting these things about a story that was written about me, like years ago... which wasn't true, and she knows it weren't true, being nasty."
Earlier this evening Danielle retweeted from account @D_19801 "D", which tweeted the former Towie star and said: "u slept with men for money".

The account, created in December and only including tweets from 28 about Maria, was retweeted quite a few more times with "Imagine squatting on old men's faces for an extra £100", "I heard Rolf Harris once paid Right after Jim will fix it" and "She was a prostitute. How can you look him in the eye @kelvinbatey do I have to dig deep in the archive."
It also commented: "U f**ed ur way through her husband And phones the paps to get in the mail. That's up there been a grass", which Danielle also retweeted.
Danielle later tweeted that she had done "nothing wrong not so much as mentioned someone's name or retaliate am too busy looking after my kids".
Soon after she commented: "let me just say this!! I've not said one word about my marriage or my past friends In My past cos I have respect for myself and my kids".
At 9.41pm she then retweeted from the account: "Telling sum truths on twitter @MariaFowler u where Julia Roberts mate in pretty woman. 50bucks grandpa for75 the wife canwatch".
Maria didn't stay silent and tweeted numerous times, including: "U made fake account then keep reweeting it @missdlloyd didnt an old man pay for your apartment next to selfridges (before all the ballers)".
She then went on to reference her ex Jamie's CBB stint: "You can give it by RT'ing people but you can't @ me @missdlloyd have you sent your lwyers for half of @Mrjamieohara1 CBB fee yet?"
In her Snapchat video, Maria claimed that Danielle has had this type of exchange "with quite a few people", adding: "She likes to have trouble, cause trouble and then play the victim".
The Sun Online has contacted both Danielle and Maria's reps for comment.
