GEORGE Michael has made a huge chart comeback days after his shock death as fans sent sales of his classic hits soaring.
The singer passed away on Christmas Day and now his most popular songs are dominating the festive charts.
Sales and streaming figures for George's most popular tracks have surged by 5625% since his death, according to the Official Charts Company.
His greatest hits album, Ladies & Gentlemen, has re-entered the top 10 for the first time in 17 years, and a number of his singles have raced up the chart.
Wham!'s festive classic Last Christmas climbed to number seven, marking the song's return to the top 10 the first time in 31 years.
A number of George's best-known albums have also returned to the rundown - his last album with Wham!, The Final, is at 40 and 2006’s Twenty Five is at 47.
Faith from 1987, 2014’s Symphonica and 1996’s Older are all back in the Official Albums Chart Top 100.
The singles chart is also full of his songs, with Careless Whisper landing at 44, Faith at 64 and his Elton John duet Don’t Let The Sun Go Down On Me at 91.

The news comes after it was confirmed that the results of the tragic star's postmortem came back “inconclusive”.
Further tests will be needed following this week's investigations, so fans may have to wait weeks to find out what happened to the pop icon.
A statement from officials explained: “A Post Mortem examination was carried out... as part of the investigation into the death of George Michael.
“The cause of death is inconclusive and further tests will now be carried out. The results of these tests are unlikely to be known for several weeks.
“Thames Valley Police will prepare a file for the Oxfordshire Coroner.
“Mr Michael’s death is still being treated as unexplained but not suspicious.”
George – whose real name is Georgios Kyriacos Panayiotou – was discovered in bed at his home in Goring-on-Thames, Oxfordshire, by his partner Fadi Fawaz on Christmas Day.
Devastated Fadi later tweeted: “It’s a xmas i will never forget finding your partner dead peacefully in bed first thing in the morning.. I will never stop missing you xx.”
