Big Bother

Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag threaten to quit Celebrity Big Brother before it even begins following diva fish and chips demands

Celebrity Big Brother might be only hours from launching it’s nineteenth season but it is already in crisis after Spencer and Heidi Pratt threatened to walk from the show before it’s even begun.

The Californian couple – who previously starred on the eleventh series of CBB in 2013 – are due back for the All Stars v New Stars series which kicks off on Five tonight.

However reports have suggested a list of diva demands set out by the pair is jeopardising everything.

According to the Daily Star, Speidi (the self appointed collective name for the American couple) have threatened to pull out of the show unless housemates are guaranteed a regular supply of fish and chips to the house.

“We’re hours away from launch and now Speidi have thrown a spanner in the works,” a source reportedly .

Spencer and Heidi – who have been married for eight years and shot to fame on MTV’s classic reality show The Hills – were famous for their feisty antics when appearing on CBB in 2013.

“They’re clearly up to their old tricks again,” the show source added.

After taking part in the show four years ago, Spencer and Heidi found a lustful appreciation for the UK’s most famous dish.

“We can’t get enough of your fish and chips. That’s all we’ve been ordering after we finished Big Brother and moved into the Dorchester Hotel,” Spencer said after becoming a runner up on the show.

Spencer and Heidi split audiences during their first appearance due to their scheming and confrontational attitudes.

While some fans enjoyed the tension they created, many others hated the couple for their behaviour – and they were regularly booed during eviction nights – however they finished second in the overall competition.

They previously entered the house as a unit – meaning they could only be eliminated as a couple.

It is as yet unclear if the same rules will apply should they make it into the show – which is due to launch tonight at 9pm.
