Demanding Chrissie sign over her share of the garage to him in return for his protection for Lachlan, he convinces the White family to do it when he pays Lachlan a terrifying visit.
And when Lachlan is beaten up again, Chrissie doesn't hesitate in giving up the garage. But when she comes face to face with her son, he has a shocking confession to make.
It comes after soap boss Iain MacLeod has revealed some huge spoilers for the show next year.
The ITV soap showrunner has teased everything from Debbie Dingle's return to Aaron Dingle's relationship with Robert Sugden taking a dramatic new twist and Zak Dingle's eventual reunion with ex-wife Lisa.
Speaking about Debbie on the video posted on the soap's Facebook page, Iain said: "She’s back. Tune in in January and you’ll see her arriving into the show with a massive story chasing after her.
"She’s slap back in the middle of a Dingle caper and just when you think you can’t catch your breath there’s a surprise twist at the end which is desperately sad, really heartbreaking and will trigger a massive new story for her for the next 12 to 18 months."
Meanwhile Debbie's dad Cain is also at the centre of the soap as a huge new storyline begins for him and ex Moira Barton.
"Over Christmas Cain and Moira exploded again so you’re probably wondering where they are going to end up by the end of next year," Iain added.
"Suffice to say we’re building to a massive story for Cain who will find himself being tempted by the person you would least expect in the whole village.
"But there will be a massive event for him and Moira to deal with later in the year that could either be the thing that brings them back together or ruins them forever."
Fans have already begun to speculate that Moira could be pregnant from her one night stands with nephew Pete Barton and ex lover Cain.
Rhona and Pierce will also suffer an upset with the couple facing down Pierce's darkside.
Iain said: "A lot of you out there have started to realise Pierce is not the nice guy everyone seems to think he is.
"In his mind he’s a normal guy but we see a darker side to his personality come out much more obviously that puts Rhona in a difficult position and leaves her with dilemma.
"Never far away from this story is Paddy, deep down he’s never going to stop loving Rhona so when she faces a rough time we have to wonder if he’s going to step in and what danger might he find himself in as a result?"
Aaron and Robert aren't escaping the drama with their wedding just around the corner.
"What we see from Aaron is something really surprising, he finds himself in the middle of someone else’s story.
"Fuelled by his own turbulent feelings about Robert, a little bit of jealousy about Rebecca, he wades into a situation he probably shouldn’t. He gets himself in a right mess and quite a bit of trouble.
"All this only serves to show Robert how much he loves Aaron and sharpens his eagerness to get him up the aisle."

And Zak and Lisa Dingle will eventually reunite after the former's split with his wife and former mistress Joanie Dingle.
Iain added: "How do you go about repairing a heart you have broken that badly? Zak tries and at times will find himself really close, at times he feels a million miles away.
"Fundamentally I think they are a couple that belong together. The world is just not right if Zak and Lisa aren’t together."
