Geordie Shore is returning on a new streaming platform
GEORDIE Shore star James Tindale is seen struggling with his grief in a trailer for the new series after his dad Alan’s sudden death.
The Geordie legend. who appeared on the MTV show from the start, opened up about his beloved dad’s final moments in a heartbreaking clip.
He says: “Losing my dad is definitely the hardest thing I’ve ever been through. I was speaking to him the day before.
“Then the next day I suddently get a call out of nowhere, like, ‘You need to get down to the hospital asap.'”
James began to cry as he explained his dad was put on life support and the family held a bedside vigil.
He adds: “So I sat with him there, with the rest of my family, and I sat with him for two days just holding his hand.
“Hoping he was going to come round.”
“And it got to a point where they just said, ‘There’s nothing we can do anymore’, so you need to make a decision and switched the machine off’. So that’s what I done.”
The clip also showed James playing pool with co-star and pal Jay Gardner.
He tells his mate: “I just want to get back to having fun and get back to normal, he wouldn’t want us to sit around and be upset and that.”
James first shared the heart breaking news that he’d lost a parent in October as he urged his fans to “cherish every moment” with their loved ones.
Describing his dad as his “best mate” in a heartfelt message, James wrote: “At the weekend my world was literally flipped upside down.
“Sunday I had to say goodbye to my dad unexpectedly and I honestly feel like it’s all just a bad dream and I’m ready to wake up.
“Me and my dad were so close he was the person I always went to when I needed the best advice and he always made me and everyone in the room laugh with his jokes and sense of humour.”
He continued: “I’m absolutely devastated and I feel like I’ve been robbed of time but I’m also so grateful for the years having you not only as my dad but a best friend.
“I wouldn’t be who I am today without you Dad and I promise to make you even prouder than I know you already were.
“I love you so much dad xxx.”
MTV hit show Geordie Shore was saved from cancellation last year.
