Matt Goss admits he ‘had a crush’ on Victoria Beckham after she revealed she was ‘obsessed’ with him as a teenager
The Bros singer made the confession as he prepares to go back on tour with his brother fir the first time in decades.
MATT GOSS has revealed that there was an ultimate pop couple that never quite came to be - him and Victoria Beckham.
The admitted that he had a crush on the star - but he wasn't willing to compete with Becks.
Matt's revelation comes after revealed in her autobiography that she fancied the singer during his 80s hey day.
She wrote: "I was convinced I was going to marry Matt Goss. I was so obsessed."
Now Matt has confessed at one point the feeling was mutual - but unfortunately they were never meant to be.
He told : "Victoria is such a lovely girl. I had a crush on her too, but I think she made the right choice."
Victoria went on to marry David Beckham while Matt has been connected to a string of beautiful women - including Mel Sykes and, most recently, singer Rebecca Ferguson.
The pair had met days before during a taping of The Jonathan Ross Show.

But speaking to The Sun Online, he played down the rumours and said: “I know Rebecca and she’s lovely. I spoke to her today… but I’m single.
“It’s a nice feeling when you meet someone and you talk but that happens at your own pace…. As a man I can say I am enjoying getting to know Rebecca.”
He added: “But I am (based) in America.”
Matt is currently preparing to make a triumphant return with his band Bros - after a fallout with his brother and bandmate Luke.
The pair eventually buried the hatchet shortly after their mum died of cancer.
Eighties heartthrob Matt added there was still friction but “We talk to each other about everything.
“We are so absurdly candid with each other.
“Our relationship has gone full circle.”
