Josie Gibson lands job on Dancing on Ice as Holly Willoughby makes TV comeback
JOSIE Gibson has landed a new role on Dancing on Ice - despite missing out on the top job as host.
The I'm A Celebrity star was tipped to replace Holly Willoughby, whose future on the ITV show was up in the air after an alleged plot to kidnap and murder her was exposed.
After quitting This Morning in October, Holly stood back from all of her work commitments - but will make her TV comeback this Sunday.
The Sun can now reveal Josie will join Dancing on Ice to present the show's competition - similar to her previous job on daytime.
It's bound to be an added source of comfort for Holly who will be returning to the ice skating show for the first time since Phillip Schofield's exit.
The ex This Morning anchor will join her old friend Deal or No Deal host Stephen Mulhern, 46, for to co-host the 15th series.

Meanwhile Josie will be close by, ready to present her cash prize competition offer to viewers.
She was the last presenter to share the This Morning sofa with Holly before her sudden exit.
Now Holly will be stood alongside her long-term pal Stephen for the series launch
After fears she wouldn't be back in time for Dancing on Ice's launch, which returns to ITV1 on Sunday 14 January.

ITV's head of entertainment commissioning Katie Rawcliffe described Holly and Stephen's partnership as "the start of an exciting year for the show".
She said: “Holly and Stephen are two of our best loved presenters, so reuniting them twenty years after they first appeared on screen together to host Dancing on Ice marks the start of an exciting year for the show.”
Dancing on Ice's line-up was revealed earlier this year with stars including S Club's Hannah Spearritt, boxer Ricky Hatton and Emmerdale's Roxy Shahidi.
Gogglebox's Stephen Lustig-Webb was forced to pull out with injury and has been replaced by Olympic legend Eddie 'The Eagle' Edwards.
