The Voice fans left BESOTTED with new judge Gavin Rossdale and his ‘perfect smile’

GAVIN Rossdale captured the hearts of the nation last night with fans admitting they had "fallen in love" with The Voice's "fit" new judge and his sexy grin.

The Bush singer took his seat on the talent show panel for the first time and the glint in his eye and cool, collected manner was enough to captivate viewers - despite the fact many admitted they didn't know who he was.

For those not in the loop, Gavin is an English musician and actor and he is best known for being the lead singer of the rock band Bush and married to Gwen Stefani.

The pair met in 1995 when No Doubt and Bush were on tour together, after a few years they got married in 2002 before divorcing in 2016.

The pair have three children together but after 14 years of marriage Gwen filed for divorce in April of this year, citing “irreconcilable differences” as the cause.

Gavin's band, Bush, found major success in America, selling over 10 million records and they had numerous top 10 singles on the Billboard rock charts and a number one album.

They broke up in 2002 after one of the members retired but in 2010 the band reunited and have been recording new music and going on tour again.

While Gavin might have impressed fans last night, the new format of the blind auditions was branded "harsh" by fans.

While the show was on the BBC the coaches’ chairs would turn for every singer, regardless of whether they pressed their buzzers or not.

Now their seats do not spin if they don’t press their buzzers, leading some viewers to accuse producers of being “mean”.

One viewer tweeted: “Wow they don’t even turn around at the end and give feedback anymore? Brutal #TheVoice.”

The coaches – Will.I.Am, Sir Tom Jones, Gavin Rossdale and Jennifer Hudson – appear to like the change however, with Welsh icon Tom saying: “I think it’s better like this.

He added: “Before you know the chairs would turn round and you’d have to explain why you didn’t.

“If I was standing up there, and the chairs didn’t turn around, I’d want to get out!”
