READY FOR HER CLOSE-UP

Maria Fowler explains her decision to share a photo of baby daughter Evie on social media for the very first time

The former TOWIE star posted the cute snap of the four-month-old cutie on her Instagram

MARIA Fowler has explained why she decided to finally share a photo of her baby daughter on social media for the first time since she was born.

The make-up artist and beauty blogger took to her Instagram page this afternoon to post a snap of four-month-old Evie Paris Batey during a family stroll in the park.

And speaking exclusively to the Sun Online, she said: “We decided it was the right time now she is a bit older. At the beginning we really wanted to enjoy our time with her without judgement from people online.”

Evie, who was born in September, looked adorable in the picture in a pink floral jumpsuit and pink, fleece-lined trapper hat.

And Maria captioned it: “We’ve had this beautiful face to ourselves for 15 weeks, now we feel ready to share a photo with you on Instagram. Evie Paris Batey.”

Maria and Kelvin attended a shop launch with Evie in December but were careful to keep her covered up

Last week, she posted a snap of her, boyfriend Kelvin Batey and little Evie as she showed off her new Dior dress, but covered her daughter’s face with a baby face emoji.

Evie was born to Maria and Kelvin at the end of September, and so far, the new parents have been reluctant to share any images of her online.

She defended her decision in series of tweets in which she said she and Kelvin did not want to expose their daughter to social media criticism.

She wrote: “Not publishing our baby’s face online has nothing to do with a “mag deal”. She is the most precious thing in our life and we are unsure as to whether we want to expose her images to the nutters & scumbags that seem to crawl out the woodwork on comments sections.

She needn’t have worried though as her Instagram post was soon inundated with cooing comments from her fans who said Evie was “beautiful” and “a wee cutie”.
