Towie star Lauren Goodger reveals she suffered a miscarriage while competing on Dancing On Ice
The reality beauty took part in the ITV show in 2013
LAUREN Goodger has revealed she suffered a devastating miscarriage during her time on Dancing On Ice.
The Towie star competed in the eighth series of the ITV reality show back in 2013, but was eliminated in the second week.
But Lauren has now revealed she was pregnant during her time on the programme, having conceived with then boyfriend Jake McLean.
She told Channel 5's In Therapy: "I was on a TV show that was quite intense.
"I had to try and perform when I was quite far gone. It didn't last."
Lauren miscarried the baby, but tried not to dwell on her loss and decided to focus on the future.
She added: "I'm the type of person who, when something happens, I move on.
"That's how I am. It's not something I addressed."
Asked if she grieved, she told the therapist: "No, I just moved on".

It was the second pregnancy for Lauren, who had also had an abortion when she was 19 while dating her Towie co-star Mark Wright.
Lauren, 30, said: "I was too young, the family didn't want it at all and put me under a lot of pressure.
"My mum was saying I should keep it, but I was like, 'No way, I'm not doing that'."
Lauren and Mark continued to have an on-off relationship after that, before finally calling time on their 11-year romance in 2012.
Lauren said: "Being in such an intense relationship so young, I thought I was going to have kids quite young and get married."
She is now planning to start a family with her current boyfriend, jailbird Joey Morrison, once he is released from prison after serving time for a string of violent drug-related charges.
She said: "I want to get married and have children. Is [Joey] the right one? I hope so, because of how I feel.
"I like the good qualities in him. I think he will be a good dad."
She told new! magazine she regretted being so open about her miscarriage on the programme.
She said: "I'm not sure why I opened up about it, it's not something I'd planned to talk about, but it just happened."
She also revealed Jake never mentioned their baby again, adding: "I didn't think about it and he never spoke about it to me. Ever.
"Never, ever mentioned it. It's weird. I went through mad times after that. I think that's when I went a bit crazy."
Lauren appears on In Therapy on Channel 5 at 10pm on January 18.
