Geordie Shore’s Marnie Simpson tells Scarlett Moffatt she would look better if she put ‘a little bit’ of weight back ON after three stone weight loss transformation
MARNIE Simpson has revealed she thinks Scarlett Moffatt is a bit too slim and has told her to put on a ‘little bit of’ weight.
The Geordie Shore star, who herself lost 2st in 2015 after following a new diet and exercise plan, made the remarks after seeing recent pictures of Scarlett.
Writing in her column for Star Magazine, Marnie remarked: “Scarlett Moffatt has lost so much weight.
“I reckon she’d look better with a little bit more on. She still looks amazing though – it probably seems more extreme because it’s such a dramatic change from how she was before.
“But if she’s happy in herself and feels confident then she should just ignore what anyone else thinks.”
Scarlett decided to change up her lifestyle after doctors warned her she was putting herself at risk of Type II Diabetes.
Speaking on This Morning, Scarlett explained: “I'd been feeling like really lethargic and I was getting really bad backs.
“I was feeling ridiculously tired. And I went there [to see the doctor] and they checked my blood pressure and my weight.
“I said: 'I'm not overweight am I?' and he said 'No, you're obese'...
“They tested me for diabetes type 2 because they said I could be pre-diabetic.
“I was like 'I'm 25. I don't understand how it got to this.’”
“It was hard going home to mum and dad and explaining what was wrong with me.”
During the chat, Scarlett also opened up about all her upcoming TV work – just days after The Sun revealed she’d been snapped up by Ant and Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway.
She said: “Saturday Night Takeaway - Yes... They're [Ant and Dec] like going to be my new friends.
“They actually my friends now...
“I don't actually know my role yet - I don't think anyone's decided what I'm doing yet.”
Speaking to The Sun, Scarlett added: “I’ve watched Saturday Night Takeaway with my family for as long as I can remember I’m such a huge fan, so to be part of one of the biggest entertainment shows out there, with two of my all time TV heroes Ant and Dec, is an absolute dream.
“I am so excited. I didn’t think 2016 could be topped but I really can’t wait for my Saturday nights now.”
