Katie Price reveals horror pregnancy ordeal saying her mum ‘held her down like a hostage’
The star now has five children and has said Harvey was her easiest baby
KATIE Price has opened about her traumatic experience of giving birth to her first child, Harvey.
The star, now 45, was just 21 when she had him and revealed doctors had to break her waters because she was two and half weeks overdue.

Speaking to her sister Sophie on The Katie Price , Katie explained: “They said they’re gonna have to break my waters.
“It was like, I mean, all I can say is it was like a knitting need hook and they were literally going pull and pop. When I say I thought my eyeballs were gonna come out of my eyes like gobstoppers, I'm not joking.
“I remember looking at mum and Sally as if they were holding me down as a hostage because you know I can’t bear anything like that. Oh my God, it hurt. I was looking at mum like, ‘Help me! Help me!’”
She revealed that she refused to have Harvey while lying on her back, saying: “I had him squatting. All I will describe it is like the ring of fire. The noises I was making, I swear I had a family of wolves in me.

During the chat Katie revealed that Harvey was her ‘easiest’ baby, but unbeknownst to her at the time it was because he was blind and had a series of health issues.
Harvey, whose dad is Dwight Yorke, was later diagnosed with septo-optic dysplasia, autism and Prader-Willi syndrome.
“He literally came everywhere we me, to work, to friend’s houses, if people came round mine we would all just get Harvey up. He was there.
“He was the easiest baby, but he was only easy because he couldn’t see and I didn’t know about all his complications. He used to just sit there and drink a lot.”

She continued: “He always used to be in the bed with me because he drank a lot and now I know it’s because of his diabetes. But Harvey Bear, I have had no aggravation from any dad, it’s been me and my Harvey Price, me and my man.”
Katie went on to have Junior, 18, Princess, 16, with Peter Andre and Bunny, nine, and five-year-old Jett with Kieran Hayler.
