Katie Price continues to distance herself from ‘marriage problems’ as she gushes about husband Kieran Hayler on Loose Women
The Loose Women star is determined to show the nation her marriage she’s closer than ever to Kieran
KATIE Price gushed over her husband Kieran Hayler on Wednesday’s Loose Women – further distancing herself from rumours their marriage is in trouble.
In a discussion about whether your partner could be your best friend, Katie said: “Kieran tops my best friend.
“We live and breathe together, he’s more than a best friend to me.”
Her sweet declaration comes just weeks after it was claimed the mum-of-five had told a reporter her marriage was over.
Katie hit back at the claims and said she was happier than ever with the former stripper.
Earlier in January, she paid tribute to him and vowed to put their issues in the past.
In a series of messages she posted in the New Year, Katie insisted her marriage was stronger than ever following a bumpy few months.
She wrote: "New year new start... I have a amazing husband and children, time to start a year with myself being totally healthy happy ambitious hobbies and new me."
Katie endured a tough time last year as she took time off from her Loose Women hosting job to work on her marriage.
Katie admitted her personal life wasn't going well, so she stepped away from her job to focus on saving her relationship.
The pair had been struggling ever since Kieran cheated on Katie with her best friend.
She later returned to Loose Women after her hiatus and declared her marriage was no longer in jeopardy.
But Katie soon found herself in trouble again after The Sun revealed she turned up “blotto” to a Christmas bash she was paid £13,000 to attend and ended up stripping in the toilet.
Video footage showed Katie launching into a foul-mouthed rant at the party, and shedding her clothes in the bathroom.
She even started inviting other women to feel her boobs.
Katie vowed to give up booze for the whole of this year following the shocking incident.
Explaining how alcohol can affect her, she said: “I’ve definitely had the lightbulb moment because, I’ve said before, when I drink I’m a nightmare. I don’t mean to be.”
She added: “You guys know me, I’m actually quite normal. I just thought, it doesn’t agree with me.
“Because I’m small it affects me, and I never know when that one is too much. It’s taken me now 38 years to realise that next year I’m not going to drink for the whole year.”
There were even calls for Katie to be sacked from the Loose Women panel over the party incident, but TV bosses stood by her.
