Tom Daley could get married live on Skype after admitting getting wed to Dustin Lance Black would be ‘easiest to do it in the middle of the Atlantic ocean’

The Olympic diver is set to tie the knot this year...

TOM Daley has joked he might be forced to tie the knot on Skype due to the distance between the UK and his fiancé’s family across the ocean.

Olympic diver Tom Daley and filmmaker fiance Dustin Lance Black announced they were getting married in October 2015 and plan to tie the knot this year.

He revealed: “No date has been set yet but we are in the planning stage.

“We don't know who to invite. It is like a trans-Atlantic wedding. The easiest thing would be to do it in the middle of the Atlantic ocean. We may have to do a Skype wedding.”

The pair met in March 2013 after Tom slipped filmmaker Dustin his number.

He added: “When I met Lance, I had not had boyfriends before. I was attracted to boys before and I thought that was normal.

“And when I met Lance I thought ‘Wow, I think I can really fall in love with a guy.’I gave him my number and if I had not done that I would have been wandering for a while. We have been together four years in March.”

In an interview last month, Tom revealed his plans to have a “whole diving team” of kids with fiancé Dustin Lance Black.

Tom says: “I’ve always been a family person so I’ve always wanted kids, and I know Lance does, too. I don’t know how many — an army of kids, a whole diving team.”

He finally revealed his ITV diving show Splash has been “rested” after struggling to juggle his commitments in the run up to the Olympics.

Tom appeared as the expert mentor to the celebrity contestants during its brief stint from 2013 to 2014.

He revealed: “I loved Splash. I had so much fun doing that and it was difficult doing it in the run up to the Olympics and doing ten Saturday night shows as it started getting into competition season. The show has been rested.”
