GARY BARLOW is going all BONO on us after watching U2 play at the Sphere in Las Vegas.

The Take That frontman now wants to emulate their incredible big-screen graphics at his own gigs.

Gary said: “I went there expecting this spectacular thing and everyone’s said, ‘Oh, it overpowers the band’.

“The one thing I came away from the gig with is that U2 are amazing.

“When the screen came on 18,000 people breathed in.

“I think experiences like the Sphere or headsets and VR are going to move music on.

“We’ve been listening to music for a long time and then we had music videos, what’s next?

“I think it’s going to be something like that.

“Coldplay try it with all the lights.

“Experiences are going to get bigger.”

Gary, Mark Owen and Howard Donald kick off their This Life On Tour shows in Sheffield on April 13.

I expect they’ll be planning something extra special.
