KATIE Price has revealed she was snubbed by a huge BBC show after a celeb rival took her place.

The former glamour model, 45, said she was in the running for a spot on Comic Relief's latest endurance challenge, as celebrities help raise money for the UK charity.

The mum-of-five said she cancelled her holiday after being told she was in the final ten - but was later informed she had not made the cut.

Instead, viewers will watch TV personality Vicky Pattison, Dragons Den star Sara Davies, BBC sport presenter Alex Scott and former Love Island host Laura Whitmore take on Snow Going Back: Comic Relief Vs The Arctic.

Katie has now claimed that former Geordie Shore star Vicky, 36, was given a place on the show over her.

Speaking on the Katie Price Show podcast, her sister Sophie said: "Did you see the Comic Relief Arctic challenge got announced?"

Katie screamed: "Who got it?

"I didn't...I was in the runners-up for it.

"I was put forward for that - I was in the top five or top ten.

"I was waiting for the phone call because I didn't go on holiday and I bloody didn't get it."

Katie then asked: "So who got it over me? Tell me?"

Sophie shared: "So all I know, Laura Whitmore, Alex Scott and Vicky Pattison," to which Katie fumed: "She [Vicky] took my place."

Katie Price's terminally-ill mum Amy rushed to hospital with her daughter by her side

Sophie whispered: "I think so," as Katie insisted: "Definitely."

Despite the knock-back, Katie remained positive and said: "There's always another year, the fact that they had my name up to do it, I'm proud."

But she admitted that she won't be tuning in for the segment, which will air before Red Nose Day on March 15.

She added: "Will I watch it? No...why would I want to watch something that I could have done rubbed in my face. No, thank you."

The group were confronted with minus 20C temperatures and had just eight hours of daylight to make their way through the polar region in four days.

They started their endurance test at the edge of the Arctic Circle in Tromso, Norway on February 19.

Last week, it was revealed that they had completed their mission after fat-biking, cross country skiing and trekking 50km to the finish line.
