Huge chart-topping pop star and Brit Award winner looks unrecognisable as they hit the catwalk in tiny pants in Paris
The Writing's On The Wall for this Unholy star - they're making waves as a fashion icon.
SAM Smith has become famed for their distinct style and sense of fashion.
So naturally, their look at the latest Vivienne Westwood show in Paris Fashion Week would be no different – going viral as they walked the runway in one of their most unique looks to date.
Making a surprise appearance as a model, 31-year-old Unholy star Sam kept a poker face as they walked in two, vastly different, looks.
In new pieces from the fashion house’s collection by Andreas Kronthaler, which puts an avante-garde spin on Renaissance style outfits, Sam stunned as they appeared in a swathe of clashing tartan.
Most notably, a blue and green kilt-like pattern was fashioned up around their crotch and gathered around the hips, into tight underwear that exposed their bum as they walked.
Partnered with a plain green v-neck sweater, Sam’s accessories completed the look with a red-and-orange tartan cape, and red-and-black knee high tartan socks emerging from a blue and orange, heelless platform stiletto heel.
With a black mesh headpiece held in place by a blue tartan cloth similar to that of the pants, Sam was aided down the runway by a giant wooden staff.
Later on, in a complete contrast to the exposing tartan outfit, Sam re-emerged in an all-black, full-coverage outfit comprised of a silver dotted top and an enmeshed patterned floor length jacket exposing through holes what was underneath.
Completed with a mesh veil and wide-rimmed hat that completely covered their eyes, Sam appeared to be blinded in the piece in the name of fashion, painted pale across the sheets to mark the contrast even further.
The entire collection, included Sam’s outfits, were later posted on the official Westwood page with the Henry James quote: “A tradition is kept alive only by something being added to it.”
