Nicola McLean’s husband Tom Williams was NOT ‘on a date’ with mystery brunette after she claims she has a ‘free pass’ in the CBB house
NICOLA McLean's husband Tom Williams sparked rumours he had been on a date with a mystery brunette while his wife was inside the Celebrity Big Brother house.
However, a close friend of Tom's tells The Sun Online they were NOT on a date and he was just enjoying a night out with friends.
Tom enjoyed a night out with six friends, and after having dinner at STK in central London, they all went on to party at a club together.
The group of friends piled into four taxis and Tom was joined by three friends, including the brunette he was pictured with, inside one taxi.
Friends have denied there's anything romantic between the pair.
A source told The Sun Online: "Tom wouldn't do that, he was just out with some friends having dinner on a Saturday night like everyone else, he's only interested in trying to look after his boys - he's certainly not wanting any of this negative attention."
"He doesn't even know who the girl is, she was just a friend of a friend."
Tom later shared a photo with his friends, writing: "The night was as blurry as the photo #allblack #stk #wellies #manoverboard."
The star shocked viewers last week as she got flirty with Jamie O'Hara, before giving him a kiss on the cheek.
Just hours later, the star woke up worried she'd gone too far, as she asked her housemates: “Is Tom gonna hate me?”
Attempting to keep the star calm, Angie Best admitted she might have some “explaining to do.”
However, unphased, Nicola then made reference to allegations her hubby had cheated on her previously.
“I don’t have to explain anything, that’s the joy of when someone f***s up so bad, you’ve got a free card,” she joked.
Nicola previously briefly split from her husband following his alleged affair in Las Vegas, and speaking about her heartbreak at the time, she said: "He knows he's never going to get anyone better than me!
"It's all still raw. He's only just realised what he's lost. It's all still really hard.
However Nicola and Tom are now back together and happily married.
