Chloe Ferry missed her grandmother’s funeral so that she could enter Celebrity Big Brother house
CHLOE Ferry missed her beloved grandmother's funeral so she could enter the Celebrity Big Brother house.
The Geordie Shore star made a late entrance to the famous compound on Friday night's live show in honour of her Grandma Mary.
A spokesperson for Chloe told The Sun Online that it's "what she would have wanted."
They said: "Chloe’s Grandmother never watched her in Geordie Shore but she had always talked about wanting her to go into CBB so she could watch her on that programme.
"Chloe felt it a fitting tribute to her grandmother to continue with her entry into the CBB house in honour of her."
Mary Etherington died on New Year's Eve aged 85 from pneumonia.
Family gathered at Tynemouth Crematorium on Friday morning to say goodbye, but Chloe had already headed to London the day before.
The spokesperson added that she had already made separate arrangements to bid farewell to her grandmother.
They said: "Chloe previously said goodbye privately to her.”
Chloe had shared a picture of her with her nan in hospital but quickly deleted it.
Since entering the show, Chloe has brought a new energy to the house and shown housemates - and some viewers - the sort of shenanigans that have made her one of the most popular girls on Geordie Shore.
This week, The Sun Online revealed the fun-loving youngster was once a champion ice-skater.
