Considered to be one of the most influential dance music figures of the early nineties, Moby will also be performing his greatest hits as he tours venues in London, Germany and France in September.

Dubbed the King of Techno, the 56-year-old found widespread success in the nineties, helping to bring dance music to a mainstream audience.

His fifth album Play was released in 1999 and sold over 12 million copies worldwide, winning numerous awards and becoming the biggest-selling electronic album of all time.

Known for his controversial viewpoints and beliefs over the years, the Noughties star has made some very famous enemies, including rapper Eminem.

The techno-rocker sparked a bitter feud that lasted for some time after calling the US rapper “a misogynist, a homophobe, a racist, and an anti-Semite” at the 2001 Grammys.

Eminem did not take kindly to such remarks and retaliated by depicting Moby in one of his most popular songs, Without Me, mocking his name and appearance.

As a multi-millionaire celibate vegan living in Los Angeles, it comes as no surprise that the animal activist will be donating 100% of his tour profits to European animal rights organisations.

Speaking about the tour profits, he said: “What makes the tour most exciting for me is that I won't be paid anything. 100% of my profits will go to European animal rights organisations.”
