‘Spencer is the one to beat'

Vogue Williams gushes about rumoured love interest Spencer Matthews and reveals she is desperate to win The Jump

The Irish model and the Made In Chelsea star are said to be growing close in the Alps

WINTER sports hopeful Vogue Williams has singled out rumoured boyfriend Spencer Matthews as the man to beat on Channel 4’s returning reality contest The Jump.

The leggy 31-year-old Irish model is one of fourteen contestants hoping to triumph in the winter sport challenge.

And speaking to Breakfast Republic on 2FM on Monday, the blonde beauty confessed she thinks everyone is going to be put to shame by Made In Chelsea star Spencer, 27.

"He's the best so far, he's the one to beat to win,” the star gushed when asked how the TV star is getting on in training.

However Vogue added she thinks the level of skill is high overall within the competition and there is a healthy amount of rivalry within the group – which includes rugby star Gareth Edwards, American model Caprice, and TOWIE babe Lydia Bright.

"Everyone is weirdly good in this group which I wasn't expecting because I was here last year and they just weren't that good,” Vogue said.

"I was really hoping for the same type of crowd but now everyone is brilliant and really competitive so it's definitely going to be hard to win,” she confessed.

However, one star Vogue doesn’t rate is Olympic champion Sir Bradley Wiggins.

"He's not great, the other day in snowcross, he was raging at me. The whole point is to push each other over,” she began.

“So I pushed him over cos he was in front of me and he was raging but it's the name of the game," she laughed.

Last year on The Jump there was a high turnover of stars attempting to conquer the array of snow sports involved as seven contestants were forced to withdraw following injury.

Vogue revealed that, as yet, no injuries have been incurred, saying: "There's been no injuries yet thankfully.”

And she added that she hasn’t resorted to asking ex-husband (and series two contestant) Brian McFadden for advice.

“Did I ask Brian for tips? No because I'm better at sports at him so I wouldn't get any tips off him,” the star said.

Vogue and Spencer have sent tongues wagging that they could be growing close as training for series four of The Jump continues.

Over the weekend they showed themselves partying together, just a few weeks after he posted a pic of himself grabbing her boob and calling her his “best friend”.
