Caroline Flack, Marnie Simpson and Jorgie Porter suffer red carpet mishaps as they arrive for the National Television Awards
While it's the most glam night of the television season, not everyone managed to make the mark
THE National Television Awards may be the most glam night of the year for television - but that still doesn't mean that everybody made the mark.
Proving that even the most polished stars still slip up, some of the celebs on the red carpet were dogged with near nip-slips and close calls when it came to keeping their clothing where is should.
X Factor runner-up Saara Aalto looked pretty in pink on the night - but the bold statement outfit puffed out and was left clashing with the red carpet as she arrived.
Her top was comprised of a series of floral embellishments that covered her front, while her long brunette locked were swept to one side in loose curls.
At least Saara can say she made an effort - which is more than can be said for Honey G - who wore her typical garb of an all black tracksuit and her signature sunglasses that flashed her name.
She didn't even appear to splash the cash with her iconic baseball cap - and was once again spotted wearing the vinyl silver headpiece.
Jorgie Porter was left battling her halterneck dress as she tried to keep everything together on the red carpet - this her white gown's sides being cut a little too low and leaving her dangerously close to being exposed to the elements.
Luckily she managed to regain her composure quickly and looked stunning as she posed for pics on the carpet.
It did look like she had straightened her hair before arrival though - so that's something.
Gillian Taylforth wore a tight-fitting gold gown that didn't appear to want to stay put - and the soap actress was forced to perform strategical hitches as she walked down the red carpet.

Even with the dress in place, the star looked seconds from popping out - but seemed to take it all in her stride as she beamed while she posed for photographs.
The star finished her looked by sweeping her hair up into a messy 'do away from her shoulders.
But Gillian wasn't alone in having to tactically keep her dress under control - with Caroline Flack suffering a similar fate as she made her way into the evening's event.
While dazzling in her maroon bandeau dress for photos, the Love Island host soon found herself falling into trouble as she walked, with her hands having to keep her top from falling and her high-rising split dress leaving her daringly close to being exposed to the elements - and the photographers.
Geordie Shore's Marnie Simpson suffered a rather embarrassing wardrobe malfunction on the red carpet as she appeared to ditch her underwear in a sheer dress.
The 25-year-old wore a revealing black lace dress which unfortunately seemed to show a bit too much - as the see-through material exposed her front.
Corrie star Shayne Ward donned farmer chic with his outfit, with a complete three-piece tweed suit and flat cap.
The soap hunk looked far from his usual dapper self as he opted for a more stand-out fashion choice.
Keith Lemon looked very 'Baby from Dirty Dancing' as he arrived in a blonde curly wig and pink dress for the red carpet.
The Celebrity Juice star looked every inch the lady as he posed for his close up on the red carpet.
He was then joined by Paddy McGuinness - dressed like Patrick Swaye, naturally - before recreating the iconic Time Of Our Life lift.
Not too sure about the beard though...
