The debate came after celebrity make-up artist Charlotte Tilbury spoke at a Bafta event earlier this week and said: "Women need make-up to get ahead in life – in their careers, in their personal lives, whatever it is".

Dame Helen Mirren disagreed saying it would be "wonderful" if women could embrace a more natural, bare-faced look.

However, some viewers were appalled when Rebecca said she wouldn't hire a woman unless she wore make-up.

But others agreed saying everyone should make an effort to look their best at work.
