Katie Price selling Mucky Mansion to buy ‘dream home’ at other end of the country
The Wakefield home has six bedrooms, four bathrooms, a 'leisure wing' with an indoor pool and gym
GLAMOUR model Katie Price is planning to sell her “Mucky Mansion” and buy her “dream home” — in Yorkshire.
The 45-year-old star is set to move 230 miles north after being declared bankrupt for a second time.
Sources say she has been eyeing up a £2.5million mansion in Wakefield, West Yorks.
It has six bedrooms, four bathrooms, a “leisure wing” with an indoor pool and gym, a cinema room, triple garage and views overlooking a golf course.
Mum-of-five Katie is desperate to move away from her Mucky Mansion, near Horsham, West Sussex, which is in disrepair.
It is believed her new boyfriend, Married At First Sight TV star JJ Slater, 31, is prepared to flog his Essex home to make the move with her.
Katie’s home plan has been the talk of the town among Wakefield locals.
One said: “The circus is coming to town. I’m sure she’s lovely, but there’s drama wherever she goes.
“Maybe that’s why she’s moving — for a bit of peace and quiet. It’s a lovely area and we’ll welcome her.”
A source said: “Katie is sick of the Mucky Mansion and sees no future there now.
“She wants to move into her dream home and she reckons this could be it.
“Quite how it would work given her financial problems is a mystery, but she’s got it in her head this is happening.”
Katie — once worth £45million — was declared bankrupt in 2019 and again last month, owing nearly £762,000 in unpaid tax.
She was approached for comment.
