Bankrupt Katie Price eyes up £750k new home after it’s revealed she wants to SELL Mucky Mansion
Katie’s plans have been the talk of the town among Wakefield locals
BANKRUPT Katie Price is eyeing up a £750k home after her plans to sell her Mucky Mansion were revealed.
The Sun revealed yesterday how ex glamour model Katie, 45, had decided to put her West Sussex pad, which is in disrepair, on the market.
But she won’t be staying down south, with a source revealing Katie’s moving 230 miles north to West Yorkshire after being declared bankrupt for a second time.
We can reveal the TV personality has her eye on a stunning detached house, which features four bedrooms and two bathrooms.
The gaff will provide plenty of space for her son Harvey, 21, to enjoy after he was forced to leave his £350k residential college.
Her other eldest children, Junior, 18, and Princess, 16, currently live with their father Peter Andre, while Jett, 10, and Bunny, nine, reside with Kieran Hayler.
It is believed her new boyfriend, Married At First Sight TV star JJ Slater, 31, is prepared to flog his Essex home to make the move with her.
Unsurprisingly, Katie’s plans have been the talk of the town among Wakefield locals.
One said: “The circus is coming to town. I’m sure she’s lovely, but there’s drama wherever she goes.
“Maybe that’s why she’s moving — for a bit of peace and quiet. It’s a lovely area and we’ll welcome her.”
A source said: “Katie is sick of the Mucky Mansion and sees no future there now.
“She wants to move into her dream home and she reckons this could be it.
“Quite how it would work given her financial problems is a mystery, but she’s got it in her head this is happening.”
Katie — once worth £45million — was declared bankrupt in 2019 and again last month, owing nearly £762,000 in unpaid tax.
The media star was handed a bankruptcy order by a judge earlier this month after failing to pay a £761,000 tax bill – but she was absent from her latest hearing.
Explaining why on the podcast, she said: “I know I had court, I think it was last week or the week before.
“Because of what’s going on in my life, I’ve actually been signed off because I’m dealing with serious stuff.
“There’s all different kinds of bankruptcy, I think they just use the word ‘bankruptcy’.
“No one actually knows the ins and outs of everything. And trust me, I don’t get away with stuff either.
“Like, you can’t, like tax, you can’t ever run away from, you have to pay. Don’t think I sit and don’t pay stuff, because I do.”
Katie was previously declared bankrupt in November 2019, when she had debts of £3.2 million.
The mum-of-five has claimed that her money woes have been caused by her former flames.
