Dua Lipa hits back at speculation she and Harry Styles are in a relationship
The Brit pop star told Bizarre's Dan Wootton "we're just friends" while visiting Biz HQ for a Facebook Live on Friday
DUA Lipa has hit back at speculation she has sparked up a romance with celeb Casanova Harry Styles, revealing: “We’re just friends”.
The pop star found herself trending worldwide – and not for the reasons she wanted – after she was spotted hanging out with the One Direction heartthrob in London just five days before Christmas.
Speaking about their date for the first time, Dua told The Sun’s Dan Wootton: “He’s a friend of mine. We’ve been friends for a while and we were just catching up.
“We just went, believe it or not, to a little risotto ball restaurant, and just hung out and caught up.
“My heart is set on someone else. He’s a chef and a model. The man can cook – he’s really good.”
Dua, who is dating Isaac Carew, 29, whose model portfolio includes Moschino and Reiss, revealed her and Harry go way back and are so close he recorded a video message for her sister back in 2013 on Instagram.
After putting an end to the rumour mill once and for all, Dua dropped another bombshell that might surprise her boyfriend.
When asked by a fan if she’s ever fancied a girl, Dua confessed: “I’ve definitely looked at a girl and thought she’s really hot, but I don’t think I’d act upon it.
“Actually, I have kissed a girl…”
This British singer-songwriter had an amazing start to her music career with hit singles Hotter than Hell and Blow Your Mind (Mwah).
Now 2017 promises to be even more exciting with the release of her debut solo album in June.
Her tune Be The One today stormed into the Top 40 for the first time to debut at 21, shooting up a massive 33 places.
And the Londoner, who yesterday dropped her new collaboration with Martin Garrix, Scared To be Lonely, has already given her vocals to new Sean Paul single No Lie and toured the US supporting Troye Sivan.
Meanwhile, she only just missed out on claiming this year's prestigious Brit’s Critic's Choice Award to Rag N Bone Man.
The 21-year-old star was born in London in 1995, before moving to Kosovo with her family in 2008. But she couldn’t stay away and moved back home at the age of 16, hoping to become a singer.
There’s no stopping her.
