Little Mix fans furious after girls’ figures appear altered to look skinnier in their video for latest single Touch
Straight lines in the backdrop are distorted throughout the clip – particularly around Jesy Nelson's body
LITTLE MIX fans are furious after industry bigwigs butchered the girls' stunning figures in their latest music video with some of the worst photoshopping we’ve ever seen.
In the vid for brill new song Touch, the band’s bodies are constantly altered to an embarrassingly obvious degree.
The changes are especially glaring because with straight lines as the backdrop, you can constantly see the lines being distorted as the digital trickery takes place.
Fans fumed on twitter: “The girls' bodies are perfect. Why have you done this?”
They pointed out that Jesy Nelson's body in particular appeared to have been altered.
One said she was heartbroken by the video, tweeting: "To see something that has, sadly, become the norm in media being done [to Little Mix] is absolutely upsetting beyond words."
Another tweeted at Little Mix: "I love you and all but your editor really should not photoshop you, show girls to be comfortable in their own skin."
We totally agree and think the feisty, opinionated ladies of Little Mix would agree as well.
They've spoken about body image on numerous occasions, with Jesy, 25, telling The Sun's Fabulous magazine last year: "We’re happy to be how we are, and don’t care if we put on a couple of pounds.
"I feel like curves are really in at the moment – I love that they’re celebrated."
We’re happy to be how we are, and don’t care if we put on a couple of pounds. You should celebrate any size

She added: "You should celebrate any size. If you can rock your body with confidence, and you’re happy in your own skin, there’s nothing sexier."
Last year Meghan Trainor brilliantly spoke out after she was photoshopped to have a minuscule waist in her video for Me Too.

The US pop star pulled the video from YouTube, later explaining that she'd signed off on an earlier version of it, but didn't notice the photoshopping until fans started talking about it.
She told : "I don't want [fans] to think that my waist is that tiny. They kept my butt the same size, so the proportions were just unrealistic."
We hope more stars follow her lead.
