The TOWIE alumni said she ‘hates’ leaving her kids as she headed to Essex then Portugal solo

Lucy took to her Instagram Stories to capture the emotional scenes showing the toddler bursting into tears as the train pulled off.

Despite his emotion, little Roman managed a farewell wave to his mum as she stood on the other side of the train window.

Dad Ryan, who was juggling a coffee in one hand, saw the funny side before pulling his teary son in for a hug.

In her caption, fitness app owner Lucy wrote: “My heart,” followed by a crying Emoji icon and a broken heart.

She explained the reason for her trip as she put: “I am going to Essex then Portugal,” before admitting she “hates” being without her brood.

While four-year-old Roman was captured in distress little Lilah, aged one, was nowhere to be seen.

Mum struggles

Lucy previously told how she was “struggling with solo parenting” when Coronation Street alumni Ryan was away for DOI rehearsals.

She told fans: “Very little sleep for two nights, solo parenting and my endometriosis symptoms are at the worst they have ever been!”

She added: “Sending love to anyone else struggling today.”

It came just days after she revealed her terror after she accidentally locked herself out of their home – while their son Roman and baby daughter Lilah were inside.

Adding to the pressure, the TV star has previously been cruelly mum-shamed by trolls.

She then brushed off the drama at a fun street party.

Back to reality

The family have recently returned from a luxury £2K holiday to Dubai.

They were joined by Ryan’s Dancing On Ice partner, Amani Fancy, as they soaked up the sunshine in the UAE.

The actor scooped the Ice King title in March’s nail-biting ITV live final, beating Radio 1 DJ Adele Roberts, 45, and Made In Chelsea star Miles Nazaire, 28.

Yet Ryan was promptly shamed for his “freebie” Dubai trip after he and Lucy filled their Instagram pages with images from the idyllic getaway.
