Comedian Sanjeev Kohli hits out at Trump’s ‘Muslim ban’ in hilarious tweet

COMEDIAN Sanjeev Kohli has hilariously hit out on social media at Donald Trump's so-called "Muslim ban".

The comedian best known for his role as Navid in Still Game took to Twitter yesterday as fans hailed him as a "patter merchant".

Sanjeev slammed the ban on refugees and immigrants from certain countries and told fans that Navid and Meena had been cut out of Still Game on Netflix.

He said: "Just heard that because of the #MuslimBan Navid & Meena have been edited out of Still Game on Netflix."

Fans flocked to the post online.

It has already received more than 300 likes and has been shared more than 100 times.

One fan said: "And they've renamed the Klansman."

Bernie Hunter added: "That will save me paying my Netflix subscription then, nae point in watching Still Game if my favourite isn't in it."

While Thomas Fallen said: "Get Isa to have a word in his ear. Sorted."

Cyrus said: "Oh what a patter merchant, you should try stand up."

The comedian later added that the "Muslim ban" clashed with Trump's plans for his wall.

He added: "Of course the #MuslimBan does slightly clash with Trump's idea of making the Mexican wall out of Muslims."

Mayor Sadiq Khan also took to social media this morning, slamming .

This comes after  as travellers flying from the US were detained at airports.

It has also been revealed that the ban will affect people with dual citizenship - including , who is currently living in the US.

Sanjeev will appear in Still Game Live when it returns to the Hydro next week.
