Legendary music star’s granddaughter poses on red carpet ahead of new film role – do you know who her famous grandad is?

IT’S wow or never for Elvis Presley’s granddaughter as she poses at the LA premiere of her new series.

Riley Keough, 34, daughter of Lisa Marie Presley, wore a sheer black dress as TV true crime drama Under The Bridge was unveiled.

The daughter of Elvis’s only child, Keough is an executive producer and stars with Killers of the Flower Moon Oscar nominee Lily Gladstone.

Lily said: “I’ve been dying to work with her for a long time, so it also gave me great confidence.

“There was a little bit of a hesitancy doing true crime so soon after doing Killers of the Flower Moon, but I knew that with Riley not only starring in it but executive producing it, that it was gonna be a very compassionate deep dive into a story.”

EMERGING ACTRESS

Born into the American musical dynasty, Riley made her film debut in the 2010 rock biopic, The Runaways, alongside Kristen Stewart.

The grandchild of the King of Rock ‘n’ Roll, Riley has had an interesting journey to fame, starting as a model and transitioning to acting in her 20s.

Now 34, the actress is happily married to Ben Smith-Petersen, with whom she shares a daughter.

Since her mother Lisa Marie’s sudden death last year, Riley was named the sole heir of Elvis’s estate, Graceland.

The famed Memphis home continues to be a pilgrimage site to the star, drawing in more than 4,000 visitors a day during the height of the tourist season.

With a rumoured worth of £500million, Riley has her hands full with a burgeoning acting career, as well as maintaining the estate for future generations of fans.

HIT SERIES

Last year, Riley starred in the hit show Daisy Jones and the Six, playing the frontwoman of a fictional rock band in 1970s LA.

With a background of musical royalty, it’s no surprise she sings in the Amazon Prime series.
