Maria Fowler strips down to a bikini and shows off her slim figure after losing two and a half stone in just 12 weeks

MARIA Fowler has revealed the results of her three month fitness kick and tells The Sun Online she’s lost almost three stone

The former Towie star wanted to lose her “mum tum” after giving birth to her first baby, a daughter called Evie, last September.

During her pregnancy Maria put on 3st – taking her weight up to 11st 7lbs – but after overhauling her diet and lifestyle, she’s feeling back to her best.

Maria, 30, tells The Sun Online: “I had more muffin tops than Mr Kipling!

“I was eating for two when I was pregnant but now I’m back to my pre-baby weight and feel sexier than ever.”

Maria got back into shape with the help of daily power walks – which allowed her to exercise at the same time as bonding with little Evie.

She explains: “I had a lot of loose skin around my tummy but I knew if I was disciplined, adjusted my diet and started to exercise regularly I could get back to how I was before I was mum.

“I have been amazed at the transformation over the last few weeks and my power walks have really made a real difference.

“I didn’t want to lose weight quickly because I knew that would not be healthy and I wanted Evie to be rooted in any exercise that I did so I would not spend much time away from her.

“That is why my mummy power walks were so effective.”

Proudly showing of her taut stomach in a bright, multi-coloured two piece, Maria says she’s proud of the changes her body has gone through – including her breasts which she had boosted to a size 34DD in 2010.

Maria continues: “My boobs are a lot of softer but I quite like the change.

“I’ve got my bikini body back and I want to show it off.”

Now Maria is planning her first holiday with baby Evie and her partner BMX World Champion Kelvin Batey.

And it seems the couple could be hearing the patter of tiny feet again sometime soon, as Maria would love to grow their family in the future.

She says: “We both adore being parents and we would love a little brother or sister for Evie when the time is right.

“It’s time to get some sun!”
